Creating and Printing Shipping Labels

Fish Flips integrates with Shippo to provide discounted shipping rates from USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers. Once your item sells, follow these steps to create and print a label.

1. Go to My Orders

Navigate to My Orders in your dashboard. Find the sale with status Pending — this means the buyer has paid and is waiting for shipment.

2. Generate a Shipping Label

Click the order to open the order detail page, then click Print Shipping Label. Fish Flips will fetch real-time rates from multiple carriers based on the buyer's address and your package details.

• Rates are calculated using the package dimensions and weight you entered when creating the listing.
• Choose the carrier and service that best fits your timeline and budget.
• Fish Flips negotiated rates are often 20–40% cheaper than retail.

3. Purchase and Download

After selecting a rate, the label is purchased and a PDF download link appears immediately. Print on a standard label or regular paper and tape securely to the package.

4. Drop Off or Schedule Pickup

Drop the package at any carrier location or schedule a free home pickup through USPS.com or the carrier's website. Your tracking number is automatically recorded in the order.

5. Tracking Updates

Both you and the buyer can track the shipment in real time from the order detail page. The order status updates automatically as the package moves through the carrier's network.
